Medical History
The patient experienced multiple early pregnancy losses and considerable physical and emotional stress. The team recommended first investigating modifiable factors before discussing embryo-level screening.
Rationale for PGT Intervention
After informed consent, chromosomal testing of the embryos was performed to select a more suitable embryo for transfer, thereby reducing the risk of another loss caused by chromosomal abnormalities.
Note
Whether to perform PGT and when should be based on clear medical indications. This case illustrates "one of the paths" and does not mean it applies to everyone.
For information on embryonic genetic testing, see the PGT service introduction.
